The rise of digital technology, 

to infinity and beyond!

Talking about cybersecurity is first and foremost about what it takes in the "digital space", which could be summed up as all equipment (phones, computers, tablets), IT infrastructures and networks on a global scale, also known as "cyberspace".

From the 1960s and 1970s, the appearance of the first networks for (Arpanet in the United States, Cyclades in France) led to the emergence of the internet as we know it today.

The rise of digital technology has since revolutionized the way things work of our societies and the economy, of uses and of daily life, In particular at the scale of:

-          Individual, with the advent of smartphones,computers, tablets, etc. These technologies allow access to the knowledge and culture, games, social networks, movies and series, online public services, e-commerce sites, the Cloud and, increasingly, connected objects (sports equipment, scales, heating, etc.).

-          Companies, with the transition to "all-digital" (workstations, internal processes, customer relations, production methods) and distribution, etc.), from the smallest and medium-sized companies to the largest groups, all sectors combined. Some of these companies are considered "vital" or "critical" to the functioning of the nation (telecommunications, energy, health, finance, etc.).

-          Administrations, with the rise of digital technology in their relationship with citizens, thanks to online public services.
