Last updated: August 30, 2025, 7:59 AM CDT

Mega Million

ATLANTA, GA – The Mega Millions jackpot has climbed to an estimated $520 million after no ticket holder managed to match all six numbers in Friday night's drawing. The grand prize for the August 29, 2025, drawing was an estimated $488 million.

While the jackpot remains elusive, several players won smaller prizes. Lottery officials have announced that two tickets, sold in Florida and Mississippi, matched the five white balls to win the game's second-tier prize of $1 million each. Additionally, 28 tickets matched four white balls plus the Mega Ball to win $10,000 each. Seven of those tickets are worth $30,000 each because they included the optional Megaplier.

Winning Numbers and Payouts

The winning numbers for the Friday, August 29, 2025, drawing were:

  • White Balls: 12, 25, 38, 54, 61

  • Gold Mega Ball: 22

  • Megaplier: 3x

The next Mega Millions drawing will be on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 11 p.m. ET. The estimated jackpot is now $520 million, with a cash option of $249.5 million.

How to Play Mega Millions

Tickets are $2 per play. For an additional $1 per play, you can add the Megaplier, which can multiply non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4, or 5 times.
