Last updated: August 30, 2025, 7:59 AM CDT
ATLANTA, GA – The Mega Millions jackpot has climbed to an estimated $520 million after no ticket holder managed to match all six numbers in Friday night's drawing. The grand prize for the August 29, 2025, drawing was an estimated $488 million.
While the jackpot remains elusive, several players won smaller prizes. Lottery officials have announced that two tickets, sold in Florida and Mississippi, matched the five white balls to win the game's second-tier prize of $1 million each. Additionally, 28 tickets matched four white balls plus the Mega Ball to win $10,000 each. Seven of those tickets are worth $30,000 each because they included the optional Megaplier.
