Baltimore Ravens History

Since their founding in 1996, the Baltimore Ravens have won two Super Bowls (in 2000 and 2012). Head coach John Harbaugh — who joined the team in 2008 and who was named the 2019 NFL Coach of the Year — has led the Ravens to a playoff berth over numerous seasons (2008–2012, 2014, 2018–2020, and 2022–2024).

Since 2008, Baltimore has been tied for the league's third-most playoff wins (13) and has advanced to an impressive four AFC Championship contests. The Ravens have also produced several members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, including Ray Lewis, Jonathan Ogden, Ed Reed, Shannon Sharpe, and Ron Woodson.

M&T Bank Stadium

Home of the Baltimore Ravens

Opened in 1998, the 70,000-capacity M&T Bank Stadium features high-def RavensVision video screens, easily-navigated concourses, and RavensWalk, a premier tailgating destination. Located on the walkway between lots B and C, RavensWalk opens three hours before every home game and features a variety of bars and food trucks, as well as live music.

In 2013, M&T Bank Stadium earned an LEED Gold rating; some of the stadium’s sustainability commitments and milestones include a 43 percent reduction in water use, ranking 27 percent above the national average in energy efficiency, and a 50 percent reduction in energy consumption with a change to LED sports lights.
