Aaron Rodgers Spotted Walking After Achilles Surgery, Raises Hope for Return

Less than three weeks after surgery, Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers was spotted WALKING on his damaged Achilles, giving fans optimism that he might play again this year.

-     - After suffering the injury, Rodgers appeared to be in for a protracted road to recovery.

-  - But it seems like the 39-year-old is recovering more faster than expected.

At MetLife Stadium on Sunday night, Aaron Rodgers was spotted walking on his injured Achilles. This was a huge victory for the New York Jets in their effort to get him back to 100% fitness.

Four snaps into his widely anticipated Jets debut against the Buffalo Bills, Rodgers tore his Achilles, necessitating surgery less than three weeks prior.

Due to the severity of the injury, it appeared that the quarterback would have a protracted path to recovery.

Patients with torn Achilles tendons are encouraged to start using crutches two weeks after surgery, albeit without bearing any weight. Before switching to a walking boot, mild motion activities must be completed after four to six weeks.
